Punny Factory Pinball Machine
Oh no, there’s been an explosion at the Punny Factory and all the Punnys are loose!!! You need to help Casey gather up all of the missing and broken Punnys. Along the way you will need to collect all the nuts, bolts, gears and springs that have been littered over the factory floor from the explosion. Help Casey get the Punny Factory up and running again !
We designed the back box to have a close up picture of Casey the Punny Factory worker, falling away from the smoking factory towards us, with a surprised expression. The factory was drawn with the right side exploding, so we might add some flashers inside the backbox. We also found that the best technique for printing on plexiglass was reverse screen printing, also known as silk screen or serigraphy. Art is printed on the backside of the Plexiglas with a white layer printed on top of the art, to pop the picture. The ink must be allowed to dry for an exceptionally long time to maintain the integrity and durability of the print. The sides of the plexiglass are then wet sanded and heated to give a smooth and clear finish. Strategic handles that blend into the background are used in place of the bottom rail.
Perfect Sound Channel
Striving to find the best all around pinball sound. We decided to add another modification to our machine. We moved the traditional front speakers to the backbox inside sides. Pinball Adventure’s custom Perfect Sound Channels bring the sound right around to the front perfectly. So long to the standard front backglass or backbox cutouts that are needed when designing a pinball machine’s head. We have also added a revolutionary, patent-pending soundproof paint that was specifically developed to reduce and/or eliminate sound transmission through walls and wood. The proprietary ingredients in our coating are able to accomplish this through isolation, absorption and deflection. Essentially we are creating an impenetrable sound barrier channel that is able to increase the quality of sound.
High End Wood Cabinets
Although there is only one model of the playfield for each title, the cabinets and backboxes will be available in different versions.
Direct art printed to wood then sealed with several coats of clear coat or dark wood with a stained finish and an engraving of the game’s logo on both sides of the cabinet and backbox.
Full Interior Artwork
We wanted to go the extra mile once again… so not only do we do a direct-to-wood printing on the cabinet and backbox artwork using an initial white layer for added vibrancy, we have also designed the inner cabinet to feature full-height interior direct-to-wood artwork, adding to the full immersion of the theme blending into the playfield. This also includes the inside floor of the cabinet as well.
Optional: Smoke Machine
To spice up the fun factor, we have added a smoke machine to the Punny Factory Pinball design. We initially wanted it blowing smoke under the playfield glass, but the condensation made that unfeasible. Instead, we chose to the Tiny FX smoke machine – a 70W, battery powered, handheld fog generator. The Tiny FX includes an external, wired 12V battery with a removable fluid syringe all mounted on the inside of the backbox. A tube from the smoke machine would expel the smoke through a 3D chimney on the top of the machine whenever a Punny is being pressed.
We have added the incredible Rockville Micro Enclosure ported subwoofer system that delivers an incredible output and infrasonic bass extension typically only possible from much larger systems.
The high power handling and high excursion subwoofer converts your amplifier’s power into bass you can feel.
The compact design, which measures less than 5.5” wide, 19” long and 11” high, allows it to be mounted easily onto the bottom of the pinball cabinet
This Rockville is CEA-2031 compliant and rated with an amazing 800 watts peak and 400 watts Program RMS and 200 watts continuous RMS (CEA-2031 compliant).
